Read Me a Story
Bilingual picture books are great for introducing foreign languages to your baby but can be hard to find. If you have a friend or relative who is also a native speaker of a foreign language, he or she might help you create your own bilingual audio books. Give the native speaker several picture books that are already familiar to your child, and ask that person to make recordings of the books in his or her native language. At story time, you can read the story in English, then listen to the recording together as you page through the book again.
